Job Summary:
The Senior Director of Operations for Behavioral Health is a member of the Behavioral Health Leadership Team reporting to the Vice President of Behavioral Health Services.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and provide direct administrative oversight and support to Inpatient Services and the Psychiatric Emergency Department
- Supervise and support direct reports assigned in Outpatient and Community Behavioral Health Services
- Ensure the smooth functioning of day-to-day operations of the Behavioral Health Service Line
- Collaborate with Psychiatry, Nursing, Social Work, and other departmental leadership to ensure compliance with unit and program routines, survey readiness, incident reporting, and overall compliance with set policies and procedures and leadership expectations
- Support the development, management, and implementation of quality, safety, patient experience, and revenue enhancing initiatives both within the service line and hospital-wide to meet strategic goals
- Ensure regulatory compliance across the Behavioral Health Service Line with all accrediting agencies and organizations such as OMH, TJC, and CMS
- Assist in design, implementation, and monitoring of appropriate therapeutic/clinical programming, along with various discipline leaders and partners throughout the continuum of care
- Assist in departmental and hospital-wide performance improvement activities and projects as assigned by the VP of BHS and represent the department in hospital-wide meetings and assigned committees
Requirements:
- LCSW or LMSW required
- Minimum of 7 years experience in a supervisory/leadership role within a licensed and accredited behavioral health program, service, or organization
- Familiarity with Lean Methodologies
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Salary : $150,000 - $175,000
