POSITION SUMMARY :
Performs a variety of duties to ensure that the property is clean, safe and well maintained inside and outside. Provide services to residents when requested by Maint. Coord. or Maint. Dir.
JOB STANDARDS :
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES :
Maintaining floors, tile, vinyl and carpeted. Including vacuuming, scrubbing and shampooing.
Keeping fire entrances clear of snow. This includes shoveling and using ice melt to keep the entrances safe.
Keep litter picked up from the grounds.
Remove trash from building as needed.
Remove recycling from building as needed.
Replace burned out light bulbs.
Assist in fire alarms.
Care for all equipment and tools used by maintenance department.
Pick up residents from hospital or clinic and may need to pick up prescriptions in emergency situations that is directed by supervisor.
Wash and disinfect all trash barrels and disposable waste barrels as scheduled.
Wash wheelchairs as scheduled.
Assist in bad weather situations.
Check fire extinguishers as scheduled and keep record of inspections.
Assist residents and staff when requested for routine equipment and building repairs.
Keep building secure at night. Including locking doors and checking KP boiler room.
Follow ALL safety guidelines.
Expectation is that you are on call rotation status, same as the Maintenance employees.
All other duties assigned by Maint. Coord or Maint. Dir.
Salary : $17 - $19
