This is an opportunity to provide the care of a Nurse in a more calm, quiet work environment.
This is full-time, permanent role working Monday-Friday work week at 35-hours per week
Education Requirement: Minimum AA degree required, BA/MA Degree preferred in Nursing from an accredited school with two-years of related practice with at least one-year of practice; Must be Licensed /Registered by the State of New York.
Brief Overview: The RN is the manager of the agency medical department, providing medical care and management to youth. Professional able to prioritize tasks and delegate, as appropriate to department staff. Supervises LPN and medical secretary, department staff. Ensures compliance with all federal and state guidelines, HIPAA and agency policy around client information/ records. Assumes responsibility for department and is an effective and reliable resource to the department/ agency. Strong ethical work; Ability to assess and respond to emergency matters professionally; Strong organizational skills; Ability to multi-task and maintain confidentiality as required; Acts in overall best interest of resident patient, staff and others.
