St. John’s Catholic School New Haven, is looking for a Music/Computer teacher, full time. The Educator will be responsible for integrating the mission of St. John’s Catholic School and the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend in all planning, teaching, grading, and in all school duties for the betterment of our students. :
Job Responsibilities Include: :
Models and teaches Catholic doctrine, values, and morals.:
Develop and teach music/Computer curriculum according to state and school standards:
Plans curriculum and prepares lessons and other materials, considering factors such as individual needs, abilities, learning levels, and physical limitations of students.:
Plan and direct student's performances in various programs, some outside of school hours:
Organize and maintain a clean and safe classroom:
Maintain discipline in classroom and in other school activities:
Assess and evaluate student progress, providing feedback to students and parents:
Works cooperatively with administrators, faculty, students and parents to form a faith community in the school and parish.:
Participates in faculty meetings, school committees, and in-service learning opportunities.:
Lead the School Choir at Masses:
Other duties as assigned.:
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Music Education or a related field:
Teacher License is an added bonus :
Successful experience in student teaching or classroom teaching:
Excellent communication, organizational, and instructional skills.:
Ability to inspire and motivate students to learn and practice music:
