Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher's Aide to support our classroom environment and assist in the educational development of our students. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and will be committed to fostering a positive and engaging learning atmosphere. This role involves collaborating with teachers to enhance the educational experience for all students. Hours for the position are 12 - 5pm on days when school is in session.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recess Supervision: Ensure student safety, manage conflicts, and promote positive interactions during recess.
- Academic Support: Provide individual or small-group reading and math intervention to help enhance student achievement.
- After-School Program Director: Plan and oversee engaging and safe after-school activities for participants.
Qualifications:
- A commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for all students.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience working with children in an educational setting (preferred but not required).
