Position Overview:
As a Teller, you will be the face of our O'Fallon branch, responsible for processing customer transactions and providing excellent service. You will play a key role in maintaining the trust and satisfaction of our customers while contributing to the overall success of our branch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments.
- Provide friendly and professional service to customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Promote and cross-sell bank products and services to meet customer needs.
- Maintain a balanced cash drawer and ensure compliance with all bank policies and procedures.
- Identify and report any suspicious activity to ensure the safety and security of our customers and the bank.
- May be cross-trained in new accounts.
Qualifications:
- 6 months previous customer service and cash handling strongly preferred.
- Previous banking experience a plus.
- Strong numerical and cash handling skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Detailed-oriented and high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Outlook; Jack Henry and XP Teller a plus.
- Current driver's license and vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage.
