QUALIFICATIONS
Education: (Preferred)
- High School or Equivalent
Experience: (Required)
- One year experience operating a multi-line telephone or switch board system.
- Bilingual.
- Good organizational skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Directs incoming calls to department heads.
- Provides general information on services provided to patients.
- Takes messages for all employees in a timely manner.
- Uses a six-line phone operation to maintain call flows and efficiency.
- Highly organized and has attention to detail with important information.
- Has advanced phone techniques for patient service.
- Make patient appointments and reminder appointments for dental patients.
- May schedule appointments for patients and specialty care.
- May perform receptionist and/or routine clerical duties such as filling out forms, answering telephones, or filing.
- Handles other duties as requested by the Dental staff or Clinic Manager.
- Calms down nervous and frustrated patients when upset.
- Handles duties as assigned by staff.
- Outbound, calling out patients to either: book appointment, reminders, retention, reschedule, cancel, or as directed by Manager.
- Receives Inbound Call and makes Outbound Calls.
- Knows the organizational culture, department structure and environment.
