JOB SUMMARY
Efficiently requisition, pick, and deliver, designated departments (including OR, PACU, Sterile Processing,
Endoscopy, and Anesthesia) supplies using Materials Management Information Systems and Pyxis. Complete
assigned Pyxis inventories weekly. Check outdates in assigned areas monthly. Keep OR supply room areas clean
and organized.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Requisition, pick and deliver designated departments' supplies for Pyxis, floor stock and department
requests.
2. Update Pyxis inventory discrepancies, if any, while completing Pyxis refills. Rotate stock while refilling Pyxis
and floor stock locations.
3. Pick OR department requests within 24 hours of submission.
4. Check backorders that have filled daily. Print, pick and deliver backorders. Communicate stockouts/product
shortages affecting OR to OR Supply Chain Lead for follow up.
5. Complete assigned Pyxis inventories weekly. Check expiration dates for assigned Pyxis and floor stock
areas monthly.
6. Monitor PPE stations and, refill as necessary.

Minimum Work Experience
Required: 2 to 4 years related work experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must possess good communication, interpersonal and customer service skills. Basic computer skills. Must be a team
player, working well with co-workers and other hospital staff, while also being able to work independently.
Preferred: 3 – 5 years’ experience in Inventory Management preferably in a hospital setting.

road conditions, including snow and ice with limited visibility. May spend time outdoors walking between buildings &
vehicle and driving in all-weather/road conditions.

90% of day standing, walking, pushing carts. 10% sitting at computer. Must be able to lift at least 55 pounds regularly
