Job Summary: St. Johns High School is seeking a dedicated and passionate High School Math Teacher to join our team. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Valid Arizona teaching certification in Secondary Education (or actively working toward obtaining one).
- Current IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (required).
- Math teaching experience (preferred).
- Willing to teach dual-enrollment college level math courses in the high school (preferred).

Reports to: High School Principal
Responsibilities:

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with state standards and curriculum guidelines.

Teach several advanced high school math courses, which could include any of the following: Geometry, Algebra 2, Financial Literacy, College Algebra, College Pre-Calculus & Trigonometry.

Assess and evaluate students' progress through formative and summative assessments.

Provide individualized instruction and support to meet the diverse needs of students.

Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine instructional practices and curriculum.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and attendance.

Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding students' progress and any concerns.

Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in math education.

Contribute to the school community through involvement in extracurricular activities, committees, and events.
