Job Description
This part-time position involves teaching one or more of the 8 designated ASE modules of content aligned with the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) content to prepare students for module exams.
Key Responsibilities
- Taught courses that cover Engine Repair, Automatic Transmission, Manual Drive train, Steering & Suspension, Brakes, Electronic/Electrical Systems, Heating & A/C, and Engine Performance.
Qualifications
To be eligible, candidates must have a high school diploma and either ASE certification or at least 5 years of experience working in the auto mechanic industry. A Bachelor's degree and teaching experience are preferred but not required.
Candidates must also be able to achieve ASE certifications prior to or during course delivery if they are not already certified. The ability to work flexible evening schedules is essential.
