Job Summary:
Serve as a catalyst for telling the story of the District by developing and implementing comprehensive content strategies that align with business goals and captivate target audiences. Collaborate with writers, designers, and other team members to create unified and engaging content that embodies the brand's voice. Monitor performance through analytics, make data-driven adjustments, and stay ahead of trends by researching current content practices, audience preferences, competitor tactics, and optimization best practices.
Job Duties Include:
- Perform technical direction for video capture including the setup and operation of camera equipment, lighting design, audio recording and ensure best practices for composition. Design and produce high-quality multimedia content, including complex animations, interactive presentations, and special effects. Utilize advanced software and hardware tools for multimedia content creation.
- Lead multimedia projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to high standards. Work closely with cross-functional teams, providing guidance and mentorship to other team members. Foster a collaborative and creative work environment.
- Develop and implement multimedia strategies that enhance brand presence and achieve organizational goals. Consult stakeholders to understand their multimedia needs and provide expert recommendations.
- Oversee the quality control process, ensuring all multimedia content meets required specifications and standards. Conduct regular reviews and provide feedback to ensure continuous improvement. Ensure all content is visually compelling and aligns with brand guidelines.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or related field. Professional experience in these fields can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.
- Four years of professional experience in media production or marketing.
- Understanding of branding and messaging practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work as a team to achieve objectives.
- Proficiency in using Adobe Creative Cloud, design or editing applications, Microsoft Office, and project management software.
Physical Requirements/Working Environment:
Mostly office environment and limited travel as required.
Licenses:
Requires a valid Florida driver license.
Travel:
Requires travel to attend off-site meetings, sometimes outside of normal business hours including overnight. Ability to drive oneself to and from meetings.
Additional Details:
Starting Salary Range: $64,313.60 - $80,392.00
Starting salary is based on qualifications and experience.
