POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for the care and custody of the vessels in the shipyard to include ensuring that the vessels are cleaned daily, that any trash or scrap materials are removed for the ship; finished products in the ship such as cabinetry, counters and floors are protected from damage using Luann, plastic board and other materials to preserve the finish work on the ship.
Key Performance Indicators (KPI) are as follows: the vessels in our care and custody are cleaned daily and protected from damage 100% of the time; completes all required company training 100% of the time and follows all company policies and procedures 100% of the time.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Install Luaan to protect ship components from damage.
- Install plastic/boards to protect the finished work on the vessels from damage.
- Clean the ships daily.
- Inspect the ships daily for damage, fire, or flooding.
- Report any damage to their supervisor for repair.
- Repair broken furniture.
- Perform minor outfitting, cutting, grinding.
- Fire watch for welding/cutting.
- All other duties as assigned.
