What are the responsibilities and job description for the Golf Pro Shop Staff position at St Johnsbury Country Club?
St Johnsbury Country Club is looking for part time or full time pro shop staff . Starting pay is dependent on your level of experience working in the golf industry or retail and the amount of trainning that will be required to enable you to do the job well.
The amount of hours worked for a part time applicant can range from 16 to 30 hours based on your availability. The amount of hours for an applicant wanting to work full time will range from 34-40 hours based on your availability and volume.
This position will run from approximately April 20 until the first week of November. The start and end dates are weather dependent. Retirees are welcome.

Computer proficiency and experience working in the hospitality / customer service industry is required. Basic knowledge of golf is needed.
Duties include: Working on a computer to check in members and guests, answering phone calls to make tee times, organizing merchandise in pro shop, etc. In short doing whatever it is that needs to be done that day to provide a first-rate guest experience. Candidate assists in helping to maintain a neat and professional work environment.
As a Golf Pro Shop Staff member, you will be essential in delivering outstanding customer service and enhancing the overall experience for our patrons.
PGA affiliation is not required but is most welcome. Retired or Snowbird PGA are welcome (Pay to be discussed)
This is a hands on position. We are looking for someone who is friendly, professional, a TEAM PLAYER and self motivated to do a great job every day. A solid work ethic and a sense of humor is a plus. We like being here and want to work with someone who wants to be here as well. Trainning is provided.
Flexible daytime schedule available. Pro shop shifts may start between 6:30-8:00am and end between 5:00-6:30pm based on daylight and volume. Your schedule will be dependent on the days and hours that you are availabile to work.

Base starting wage is $15/Hr and is adjustable based on the level of experience you have. Wages subject to discussion for applicants with prior relavant experience, golf course experience or PGA. The opportunity to provide golf instruction is available for a candidate with experience in that area.
