This is a part-time position. Please indicate a preference when applying for either the 6AM-11:30 AM or 9:30AM–2:00PM shift.

Description:
- Works independently and/or part of a team that performs general maintenance and repair work for the Church, Parish Office Building, School, and Rectory.
- Performs building maintenance, dusts, mops, vacuums, wax floors, cleans bathrooms, washes walls & windows and removes trash; works with industrial strength cleaning chemicals.
- Sets up and takes down tables & chairs for lunchroom and events; moves furniture, and performs trade skills including painting and minor repair work;
- May supervise seasonal help and volunteers.
- Performs other job-related duties as required, including but not limited to working in inclement weather while performing ice/snow removal; setting up special events for Parish and School, etc.
- Very urgent needs may result in being asked to work outside of regular hours and with commensurate additional compensation
Special Requirements:
- Selected candidate for the position will be required to complete a criminal background check.
- Must possess the necessary mobility to physically perform the essential job duties of the position including--but not limited to--lifting and carrying items/equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, walking, standing for long periods of time, bending, reaching, stooping, and in all types of weather conditions.
- Must be able to communicate clearly in both verbal and written form, strong organizational and multitasking skills;
- Must be a team player;
- Have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with both external and internal contacts.
