Job description
Supervise inmates in the St. Joseph County Jail in accordance with established policies, regulations, orders, and procedures by performing assigned duties.
- Good writing skills to create clear reports
- Strong verbal communication skills to interact with inmates and coworkers
- Leadership skills to maintain order and control
- Ability to work 8-hour shifts or longer. Overtime is available
- Sound judgment skills to make good decisions in high-stress situations
No experience needed.
H.S. or GED required.
No Felony convictions.
