What are the responsibilities and job description for the Psychiatrist position at St. Joseph Health?
I am the vice-chair of the psych dept at St Joseph Hospital in Orange. My group has been managing ER psych patients at St Joe for 7 years. I am looking for strong psychiatrists who can help me cover the ER on weekdays (shifts are morning 8am-1pm & evening 5pm-10pm) or Weekend shift 8am-6pm. MD can choose to do morning or evening shifts or both on weekdays. Weekend is just one 10hr shift. MD can choose any number of shifts they want every month. Just evaluating ER psych pts. MD is paid an excellent hourly rate. An independent NP works hand in hand with MD. This opportunity Can be a good referral source for private practice since we see a good diversity.
