Sonographer

The Sonographer will demonstrate extensive knowledge of Sonography imaging techniques to assist the Radiologist in successfully diagnosing and treating the patient's condition. They will be expected to perform both General and Vascular Ultrasound procedures with varying degrees of complexity.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Produces quality ultrasound images to support patient care activities to include General, OB/GYN, and Vascular procedures.
- Evaluate patients for the presence or absence, severity and location of peripheral vascular disease by selecting the most effective procedure(s) from an array of anatomic, hemodynamic and physiologic procedures
- Record test results and report the results to the physician upon completion of testing.
- Utilizes innovative customer service techniques to provide a positive patient care experience for the patient and their family.
Qualifications
Required Education & Experience:
- Must have completed an acccredited Sonography program
- ARRT or ARDMS
- BLS - CPR
