Summer Camp Manager
St. Joseph Home is excited to offer a Summer Camp experience designed specifically for individuals with developmental disabilities. Tailored for students in grades 6 through 12, our program blends recreation, education, and connection, all within a safe and supportive environment. We are seeking an experienced Summer Camp Manager to lead and oversee this rewarding program.

Program Overview:
Our summer camp offers three two-week sessions that include a variety of enriching activities such as:
- Recreation & Leisure: Creative, relaxing, and social activities designed to inspire and engage participants.
- Educational Field Trips: Visits to museums, the zoo, and other exciting destinations.
- Therapeutic Swimming: Adaptive swimming in a therapeutic pool.
- Library Story Time: Story sessions hosted by the Cincinnati Public Library.
- Hikes with Luke5Adventures: Guided hikes supported by adaptive equipment for a more accessible experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the summer camp program.
- Supervise camp staff and provide clear, concise instructions.
- Ensure a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all participants.
- Coordinate and oversee scheduled activities, including field trips and recreational events.
- Address any issues, ensuring diplomacy and problem-solving abilities are used effectively..
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree with an Intervention License preferred.
- Skills/Abilities:
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience required.
- Experience working with multi-handicapped individuals preferred.
- Self-directed, motivated, and able to guide others effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills, good judgment, and diplomacy.
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
- Valid driver’s license (with fewer than 6 points) and vehicle liability insurance required. Must be willing to drive company vehicles.
