What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Liaison position at St. Joseph Hospice?
St. Joseph Hospice in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a Community Liaison to join its team!
The Community Liaison will play an integral role in our team by educating customers, potential patients/families and the community on our Hospice services.

Community Liaison Responsibilities:
- Provides education about Hospice services to physicians, social workers, discharge planners, insurance companies, case managers and potential patients/families
- Assists with referrals and admission process.
- Conducts in-services and direct face-to-face sales calls, as well as represents the facility in community-related activities and marketing events.
Requirements:
- Clinical experience preferred but not required
- Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Working knowledge of computers and software packages such as Microsoft Office
- Great written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with physicians, social workers, case managers, patients and families.
