Key Responsibilities

• Respond swiftly to emergency calls and provide efficient, life-saving medical care to patients in pre-hospital settings.
• Perform medical procedures, including first aid, CPR, and AED use, on-site and during patient transport.
• Collaborate with paramedics, firefighters, and other emergency responders, ensuring seamless teamwork in critical situations.
• Ensure the ambulance and equipment are well-maintained, sterilized, and stocked with supplies, ready for future emergencies.
• Calmly assess patients' conditions, document findings, and communicate effectively with receiving medical facilities.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• High School Diploma or Equivalent or related experience required for new hires effective April 2014.
• Basic EMT Training or E.R. experience required.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  
  

Facility Specific Requirements (facility May Require Items Listed Below)

• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Current PALS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Certified/Licensed EMT by the state certifying agency/entity required.
