Responsibilities:
We are seeking newly graduated Nurses (LPN), at St Joseph Medical Center, a member of Prime Healthcare in Kansas City, MO.
You will be part of our Nursing staff, performing a wide range of duties to support patient care. Multiple Units available including: Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, Behavioral Health and more!
Bonus Options: up to $6,000

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):
- perform head-to-toe assessments, monitor vital signs, and identify changes in patient conditions and patient care
- administer oral, intravenous (IV), intramuscular (IM), or subcutaneous medications, including pain management and antibiotics
- use electronic health records (EHRs) to document patient assessments, interventions, medications given, and progress
- handle multiple patients with varying acuity levels, often prioritizing tasks like responding to emergencies, addressing pain management, and ensuring timely medication administration
- participate in a nurse orientation designed to transition new grads into practice
- work closely with experienced nurses or preceptors to refine clinical and critical-thinking skills
1. Current and valid state license
2. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
3. IV certification upon hire
