3,000.00 Sign on bonus for full-time, pro-rated for part-time. We recently enhanced our 2024 wages and shift differentials.
Job Responsibilities of the Licensed Practical Nurse LPN
- Ability to assess the healthcare needs of the patient / resident, make a nursing diagnosis, transition this through collaboration with the nursing team, into an interdisciplinary plan of care.
- Is able to communicate this plan to all care providers in a way that ensures continuity of care for the patient / resident.
- Demonstrates the ability to establish and maintain functional communications with staff, other disciplines, families, medical staff, and community
- Demonstrates the proficiency with computerized documentation.
- Demonstrates responsibility for one's own practice, utilizing educational opportunities to expand or refresh skills and / or knowledge and then demonstrates the ability to apply knowledge and share with others.
- Demonstrates the ability to provide education to patients / residents regarding their healthcare issues and care plan strategies. Provides ongoing education regarding nursing practices to other members of the healthcare team under his / her supervision
- Demonstrates the ability to document data in an accurate and timely way that maintains the facility resources to meet facility, state and federal requirements.
- Complies with legal requirements, standards, policies and procedures, including, but not limited to those within the Compliance Process, Code of Conduct and HIPPA.
