Position Summary
-
The Obstetric Navigator directs, supervises and coordinates the activities related to patient flow in the obstetric areas. The Navigator's primary function is to ensure efficient movement of patient admissions. The primary function is to ensure efficient movement of patients through the obstetric hospital system as a liaison with community partners. This position is responsible for assignment and acquisition of resources (human and supply/equipment), problem solving across the health system involved in obstetric care, appropriate communication with management, physicians and staff. Uses the strategic planning process; consults with and communicates with the Managers and Director for Women’s & Children’s Services on issues relating to the operation of areas of responsibility.

3-5 Years Labor & Delivery Clinical experience and/or Obstetric Office experience - Required
