- Position Summary
- Provides assistance, coordinates activities, special projects and assignments for the President of St. Joseph's/Candler. Acts on the behalf of the President in an educated and professional manner when working with Hospital executives, Board members, staff and all outside community organizations. Furnishes assistance in handling highly confidential matters for the President. Critical thinking skills, mature judgement and multi-tasking skills are required. Maintains and manages open communications and is available to component organizations and practitioner sites for consultation. Mature phone etiquette required. Excellent organizational skills with an ability to think proactively and prioritize work. Flexibility on extended hours periodically required. Positive attitude in a fast paced executive setting.

- Advanced level experience with Microsoft Office
- Preferably in the Medical field

- Core Job Functions
- Maintains daily calendar by scheduling meetings and managing associated changes in Microsoft Outlook.
- Making travel arrangements and registers attendees for conferences as needed.
- Acts as a point of contact between executives, co-workers, outside customers and Board of Trustees.
- Accuracy of all material and exhibits.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to screen phone calls.
- Prepare monthly reports for Board meetings, CEO Council and Medical Staff Executive Committee.
- Experience in exercising discretion and confidentiality with sensitive company information.
- Excellent organizational skills with an ability to think proactively and prioritize work.
- Formats information for internal and external communication – letters, memos, emails and presentations.
- Maintains flexibility and adaptability to change in a fast-paced environment.
- Oversees approvals of certain corporate expenditures.
- Organizes and maintains the office filing system and able to locate documents in a timely manner upon request.
- Takes minutes during meetings as required.
- Coordinates biennial Board Advance.
- Coordinates donors, political and academic interactions.
