Registered Nurse - Med Surg Tele (D4)
Facility: St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center
Location: 301 Prospect Ave, Syracuse, NY, 13203
Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week
Duration: 13 Weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Experience: Minimum 2 years required, with prior travel experience
Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Acute Medical Inpatient – Intermediate Step-down Telemetry (Class I)
- Cardiology experience mandatory:
- Cardiac medications/infusions
- Telemetry/temporary pacemakers
- Post-procedural care (Cath Lab, EP, TAVRs)
- CHF, RAF, medication loading
- Pre- and post-op for cardiac and vascular surgeries
- CVICU step-down, vascular PACUs (AAA/Carotids)
- Certification: BLS required, ACLS preferred
- EHR: EPIC experience required
- Every other holiday and weekend rotation
- No call
- No local contracts (only candidates 75 miles from the facility will be considered)
