Job Overview
The Maintenance Director is responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations within the facility, ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning efficiently and safely. This role requires a strong background in facilities management, mechanical knowledge, and project management skills to lead a team of maintenance personnel effectively. The Maintenance Director will also be responsible for developing maintenance strategies, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Duties
- Supervise and manage the maintenance team to ensure timely and effective completion of maintenance tasks.
- Develop and implement maintenance management programs that enhance operational efficiency.
- Oversee the repair and maintenance of electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage equipment.
- Utilize logic controllers and voltmeters to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Manage projects related to facility upgrades or repairs, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment performance.
- Train and mentor staff on best practices in maintenance procedures and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities management or a related field.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.
- Experience with logic controllers and voltmeters is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability in project management, including planning, execution, and monitoring of projects.
- Strong supervisory skills with a focus on team development and performance management.
- Familiarity with both high voltage and low voltage electrical systems is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to maintenance challenges.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $23.50 - $27.00 per hour
