- Attend work in a regular, reliable and punctual manner.
- Instruct and demonstrate skill sets and techniques necessary for individual and team achievement through weight training and conditioning.
- Ensure the proper cleaning, storage, and maintenance of all athletic equipment.
- Adhere to financial policies in regards to collection and disbursement of money, expenses, and receipts.
- Designs weights and conditioning program.
- Models nondiscriminatory practices in all activities.
- Develops and maintains positive relationships with parents, and community stakeholders/members.
- Maintain a safe environment and facilities for student athletes at all times.
- Must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school administrators, parents, and students.
- Must be able to pass background screening including fingerprinting.
- Other assigned duties.

Qualifications:
Required: Certified by Missouri State High School Activities Association. Experience and knowledge in weight training and conditioning.
Preferred: Current teaching certificate, Bachelor’s Degree and Head Coaching experience.
FLSA: Non-Exempt
Salary Schedule: Per approved Extra Duty Salary Schedule
Direct Report: Athletic Director
Terms of Employment: June & July (not to exceed a total of 80 hours)
Purpose: Provides coaching and direction to student athletes. Assists students in achieving a high level of skill and appreciation for discipline, sportsmanship and teamwork.
