Qualifications:
Required: One year of experience is required. Must be able to lift 45 lbs.
Preferred: Associate Degree or completion of coursework through a technical school as well as hands-on experience working with hardware and software.

Essential Job Functions:
- Must attend work in a regular, reliable and punctual manner.
- To "telework" when requested by the District.
- Assesses the operation of computer hardware, software applications, and electronic equipment for the purpose of ensuring hardware and software is in proper working order.
- Diagnoses hardware and software failures for the purpose of identifying repair and replacement needs.
- Repairs computers, peripherals, and electronic equipment for the purpose of maintaining equipment in a safe and functional operating condition.
- Installs computer hardware, peripherals, and application software for the purpose of maintaining overall site operations.
- Performs basic network troubleshooting and assists district network staff in troubleshooting malfunctions of network hardware and/or software applications for the purpose of resolving operational issues and restoring services.
- Refers troubleshooting and repair of equipment and software outside the scope of his/her job function to the appropriate district personnel for the purpose of providing assistance to users for problem resolution.
- Supports classroom activities for technology-related classes for the purpose of providing information regarding procedures, processes and safety.
- Coordinates repair work schedules with school personnel and supervisor for the purpose of minimizing the disruption of services.
- Participates in school and departmental meetings, workshops, and trainings for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required to perform job functions.
- Prepares written materials (e.g. status reports, instructions, user guides, etc.) for the purpose of documenting activities, providing written reference and/or conveying information.
- Maintains documents, files, records (e.g. preventative maintenance, inspections, repair logs, etc.) for the purpose of documenting activities and providing an up-to-date reference and audit trail.
- Responds to a variety of questions from site staff for the purpose of providing information, guidance or referral.
- Tutors site staff on a variety of software applications and hardware operations for the purpose of providing ongoing supports and maximizing the capabilities of assigned staff.
- Maintains District vehicle (e.g. checking fluid levels, tire pressure, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring availability of vehicle in proper working condition.
- Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
