Job Details
A large hospital in Arizona is looking for experienced CVICU / Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit RNs for a travel assignment. The right candidate will have 2 years of CVICU / Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit experience.

The right candidate will have 2 years of CVICU / Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit experience.
MUST HAVE LEVEL I TRAUMA EXPERIENCE
Traveler must pass DYS exam PRIOR to accepting.
All RNs will be expected to complete SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion & central line dressing changes, with exceptions for specific units.
Must demonstrate competency in maintaining sterile field, as these are nursing skills that are performed frequently.
Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam required 24-48hrs prior to acceptance of a position.
Schedule Information
Contract length is 13 weeks.
Weekend Requirement : 3 weekend shifts in 4 week schedule.
Shifts are 7-7.
Float to other ICUs and all Tele units. Travelers will float 1st before perm staff.
Unit Specific Information
Ratios : 1 : 1-2. High number of 1 : 1.
Floor specific orientation : 2 days on the floor.
Common diagnosis / Types of patients : Cardiac surgery recovery, Empallas, IABP, CRRT, lung transplant, thoracic, Ecmo, esophogectomy, lobectomy, pneumectomy, TAVR.
