MedSurg Tele Ortho (Tower 8) position at St Josephs Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona.
Facility is a 607 bed, nationally recognized center for quality tertiary care, medical education and research.
Level I Trauma and Teaching experience required.
2 years of CORE experience required in specialty being submitted to.
Job Requirements
Candidates must have BLS and ACLS certifications.
2 years minimum Telemetry experience required.
Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam required 24-48 hours prior to acceptance of a position.
Schedule Information
Weekly Orientations on Mondays, except for holiday weeks.
Facility will not consider any contract shorter than 13 weeks.
Weekend Requirement : 3 shifts in a 4 week period.
Holidays : work into permanent staff rotation.
Unit Specific Information
Unit : T8 - Trauma, Ortho, Surgical - 30 beds.
Ratios : 1 : 4-5.
EMR : Cerner.
Charge Nurse does not take patients.
Nurse Aides : 2 days, 1 night.
Additional Details
Must be gone from CommonSpirit for 12 months as permanent staff to be considered for a travel assignment.
No facial piercings and only natural hair colors allowed.
Travelers can be expected to have nursing students, as this is a teaching hospital.
