Job Details
Neuro ICU position at St Josephs Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona.
Facility is a 607 bed, nationally recognized center for quality tertiary care, medical education and research.
Level 1 Trauma experience required.
2 years of CORE experience required in specialty being submitted to; Level 1 Trauma and Teaching experience required.
Previous travel experience required for ED and Neuro ICU.
Job Requirements
Must have BLS and ACLS certifications.
2 years ICU experience required in large (450 ) facilities.
6 months travel experience required.
Candidates must pass the Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam prior to acceptance of a position.
Must have EVD experience.
Schedule Information
12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM.
May be placed on Standby for a scheduled shift.
Floating required between all ICU floors and Tele Units.
Work into core staff rotation for holidays.
Unit Specific Information
Unit size : 32 beds in Neuro ICU.
Ratios : 1 : 2 for patient care.
Charge Nurse does not take patients.
Additional Details
Candidates cannot work another assignment / contract while working for Dignity AZ.
Must have strong neuro assessment skills and ICP monitoring experience.
All profiles must include unit size, hospital size, trauma level, and EMR (Cerner experience).
