10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
Please note: Schedule may change based on production needs
Significant overtime up to 12 hour days 6 days a week required during harvest season (typically August 15 – November 30).
About the Position: Cellar Production Specialist
This is a physically demanding position in our winery’s production team. As a Cellar Production Specialist, you will actively participate in the winemaking process, from grape to bottle. You will be responsible for completing wine processing and bottling tasks, cleaning tanks and equipment, making additions to tanks, and assisting with filtrations. As you grow in the role, you may also operate filters, grape presses, bottling lines, and other equipment.
This is not a desk job — you will be on your feet all day, working with your hands in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize tanks, floors, equipment, and work areas
- Support wine processing, filtering, bottling, and other cellar tasks
- Operate winemaking equipment such as filters, centrifuges, presses, and de-stemmers
- Adhere to HACCP, MIOSHA, and FDA safety and food handling guidelines
- Take direction from the Cellar Master and follow established winemaking procedures
- Maintain detailed records and follow instructions with precision
- Learn and grow within the role to take on more complex production duties
- Valid driver's license and ability to be insured on company vehicles
- Must be able to regularly lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, bend, twist, and work in confined spaces
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods throughout the shift
- Comfortable working in a range of temperatures and around moving machinery
- Willingness to wear appropriate work attire including jeans and waterproof boots
- Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends during harvest
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Team-focused attitude with the ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
- Interest in wine and winemaking is a plus
- Prior experience in a physical production or brewing environment is preferred but not required
