Key Responsibilities:
- Window Installation: Install windows in residential and commercial buildings, following project specifications and blueprints.
- Concrete Forming: Perform concrete forming as needed for window frames and supports to ensure stability.
- Safe Tool Usage: Utilize power tools and equipment safely and effectively during installation processes.
- Material Handling: Conduct heavy lifting tasks related to window units and associated materials.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure seamless project execution.
- Frame Restoration: Restore existing window frames as necessary, ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic appeal.
- Tile Laying: Lay tile around windows when required, adhering to design specifications for a polished finish.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Accurately read blueprints to understand project requirements and layouts.
- Frame Carpentry Tasks: Engage in frame carpentry tasks related to window installations, ensuring precision in measurements and cuts.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in window installation or related construction work preferred.
- Strong skills in frame carpentry are highly desirable.
- Proficiency in safely using power tools and equipment on construction sites.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as required by job duties.
- Excellent blueprint reading skills to accurately interpret project plans.
