Primary Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director of Laurentian Engagement, the Associate Director of Laurentian Engagement will be responsible for the overall coordination of Reunion Weekend planning and other designated events under Laurentian Engagement. This work includes production of Reunion marketing materials, overall event logistics, virtual engagement efforts with affinities, goal setting, and coordination of recruitment milestone volunteers. S/he also travels to meet with Laurentian volunteers each year, while staffing off-campus events as assigned. The associate director will also assist the director in coordinating events with campus partners, including Laurentian Weekend, Scarlet and Brown Day, and other on-campus events as designated.

- (40%) Develop and coordinate Reunion Weekend including marketing materials (direct mail and online) and coordinate all event logistics. Assist with registration and marketing for “runway to reunion” virtual engagement events around affinities.
- (20%) In coordination with the Associate Director of Annual Giving, identify, recruit, and manage Reunion volunteers for Reunion milestone classes.
- (20%) Assist the Director in coordinating Laurentian Weekend, Scarlet and Brown Day, and other on-campus events.
- (10%) Travel to off-campus events as assigned and meet with potential Reunion volunteers.
- (10%) Perform other duties as assigned to support University Advancement’s goals and objectives.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- A minimum of three years of experience in fundraising, sales, marketing, or a related field required. Comparable experience in higher education with a focus on development, alumni relations, admissions, communications, athletics, or student life will be considered.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Exposure to using relational databases; experience with The Raiser’s Edge and GiveCampus preferred.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team, build effective relationships, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to develop strong relationships with Laurentians with the highest degree of professionalism.
- A willingness to travel frequently and to work some evenings and weekends.

Salary
Salary range $60,406 - $62,000 annually. Actual rate will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
