The Advancement Manager will support the Advancement Department’s efforts to generate awareness, engage the community, and raise funds.
What You Will Do
Support the St. Louis Arc's programs through engaging the community and fundraising
- Generate and coordinate content for social media and other communications, including photography/videography at St. Louis Arc events and activities
- Maintain the success story library to share The St. Louis Arc’s mission with the community
- Coordinate and support the Arc’s 75th anniversary activities, including the “Celebration Squad” initiative to recognize our partners
- Provide support for the planning and execution of the St. Louis Arc’s fund-raising events including:
- Trivia Night
- Louis Arc Golf Tournament
- European Auto Show
- Autism Invitational Golf Tournament
- 75th Anniversary Gala and other formal and informal events for donors and community partners
- Assist with the coordination of the Arc’s Young Friends group
- Provide support for corporate outreach efforts including volunteer activities and 3rd party events
- Assist with communicating gift impact to donors including stewardship materials, success stories, reports, and thank you/birthday cards.

The flexible, respectful individual we see in this position is an innovative and quick thinker with these qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- Two to three years of experience working in nonprofit communications or development preferred
- Knowledge of graphic design (Adobe Creative Suite) and Canva along with basic skills in photography, videography, and editing is preferred
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work with a diverse population of donors, volunteers, staff, and St. Louis Arc participants.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage projects and meet deadlines.
- Proficient computer skills including the ability to use the Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of graphic design (Adobe Creative Suite) and Canva, along with basic skills in photography, videography, and editing, is preferred
- Positive attitude, teamwork orientation, and an interest in having fun while generating awareness and support for the St. Louis Arc
