Job Summary:
The St. Louis Cardinals are looking for a curious, detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our growing Business Analytics team. This person will be responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights to support decision-making across departments. The ideal candidate is proficient in SQL, comfortable working in R, and experienced in building dashboards and maintaining data pipelines.
Job Duties:

Develop and maintain dynamic dashboards using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker to visualize trends and performance metrics.

Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from various sources.

Use R (or Python) for data cleaning, statistical analysis, and building reporting workflows.

Ensure data quality and consistency by developing validation processes and maintaining data documentation.

Assist in building and optimizing data pipelines and reporting infrastructure.

Present findings in clear, compelling ways through reports, presentations, or visualizations.
Education/Experience Required:

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Analytics, or related discipline including May 2025 graduates

Proficient in SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets.

Familiarity with dashboarding tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
