Job Summary:
The Credentialing Specialist position is a seasonal position responsible for providing all of the field pass credentials for game days. This position also staffs the main box office, ticket window 1, to assist with the issuance of vendor/sponsor credentials. This position may also assist with troubleshooting MLB scanning devices and scanning parking passes.
The Credentialing Specialist will prepare and distribute the Field Visit Passes for fans that will be going onto the field during batting practice. The Credentialing Specialist must be available to work 70% of the scheduled home games and will work for 5 hours during each game. This will require using the MLB Credentialing System, Microsoft Word and internal databases.
This is an office job that requires a person to be at a computer or desk for most of the shift. Must be able to communicate clearly both in person and on the phone.
Job Duties:
- Input data into the MLB credentialing system, Microsoft Word Mail Merge, and internal CSV/Excel database to produce field pass credentials.
- Print field passes and issue them to fans and escorts.
- Issue vendor/sponsor passes and credentials at ticket window.
- Limited troubleshooting iOS devices and printers
- Auditing VIP parking utilizing MLB credentialing system
Education and Experience Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Excellent computer skills
- Experience with iOS devices
- Good oral and written communication skills
Education and Experience Preferred:
- Associate's degree in a related field
- Customer service experience
- Excellent computer skills and knowledge of database management
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
