Job Summary:
The St. Louis Cardinals are seeking candidates for our Summer Ticket Sales Internship position. This internship will involve observation of the various functions of the Ticket Sales department while receiving practical knowledge of game day responsibilities and project work. This intern will also learn customer service skills using all forms of communication utilized in the department.
Job Duties:
- Observe the Ticket Development, Season, Premium, and Group Sales departments
- Assist with game day responsibilities at home games including pre-game entertainment and customer visits in suites and all-inclusive areas
- Learn how to provide excellent customer service via all portals of communication including phone, email, face-to-face meetings, and Alive Chat
- Participate in group and individual projects as assigned
Education and Experience Required:
- Current enrollment in an accredited program at a college or University with a minimum Junior level status
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Desire to learn and grow professionally in the sports industry
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
- Strong customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
Education and Experience Preferred:
- Experience in sales, preferably within the sports industry
- Experience in customer service, preferably within the sales industry
- Knowledge of Ticket.com ProVenue ticketing platform
