Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized clerical assistant the St. Louis Circuit Attorney's Office. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our Financial and Civil Matters Unit by performing various clerical and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Entering data in PbK and in various departmental spreadsheets.
- Setting up calendar reminders.
- Preparing files for expungement hearings and Sunshine Law requests.
- Obtaining criminal histories.
- Providing initial responses to Sunshine requests.
- Scanning records into computer system.
- Processing payments received in the office.
- Responding to service window inquiries, phone calls and voicemails.
- Maintaining various records .
- Assisting with the preparation and filing of fugitive nolle memos.
- General clerical duties, as assigned.
Skills and Education:
High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate plus two years clerical /secretarial work experience OR an equivalent combination of education training and experience,
Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite Products. Prior experience working with the public is preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment is required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $44,625.00 - $50,000.00 per year
