As an intern, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Equipment Manager in all aspects of managing the team's gear and equipment. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the setup, maintenance, and organization of training and game-day equipment.
- Ensure that all team gear, including uniforms, training equipment, and accessories, are properly cleaned, organized, and maintained.
- Help with the transportation of equipment to and from training sessions and games.
- Assist in inventory management and the ordering of new equipment as needed.
- Support the Equipment Manager in tracking and preparing team gear for traveling.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with STLCITY2 players and staff
- Ensure that all locker rooms, training areas, and equipment storage spaces are well-organized and maintained.
- Provide support during team training sessions and match days.
- Assist with any additional tasks as assigned by the Equipment Manager or other staff members.
Qualifications:
- Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in sports equipment management or related field is a plus but not required.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays, especially during the soccer season.
