The Basics Of This Position

The Horticulture Program at St. Louis Community College is currently in search of Adjunct Faculty to teach HRT102 Soils and HRT 214 Landscape Management for Fall 2025 Semester. This position is part-time and non-tenure.

What You'll Do

  • Individual will be responsible for preparing and delivering lectures, maintaining accurate records of students evaluating and grading students’ class work, and assignments. Individual will participate in all Horticulture Instructional Team meetings, required trainings, has ability to work effectively with students, faculty and staff with diverse socioeconomic, cultural and racial/ethnic backgrounds as well as diverse abilities/disabilities and sexual preference.

Education, Experience, And Other Requirements

Applicants for this position must have an Associate Degree in Horticulture, or related field, and 5 years of field experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Horticulture, or related field.
