What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Snack Bar Servers position at St. Louis Country Club?
St. Louis Country Club (SLCC) is looking for summer servers for our Snack Bar Dining area by the pool. This job is ideal for students with flexible hours and lots of fun!
Job responsibilities include:
- Taking accurate member/guest food orders and delivering items punctually.
- Communicate with managers when special requests are needed, or problems arise.
- Assist in keeping the snack bar dining area clean and organized.
- Ensuring the snack bar dining area is set-up to start the day and/or items are put away at the end of the day.
Please note this is not a standard hot dog and burger snack bar. SLCC Snack Bar serves not only sandwiches and salads, but also steak and gourmet meals, not prepackaged chips and snacks. The serving experience you gain with us over the summer, will become a valuable skill you can use throughout life at any restaurant/dining setting. Also, returning staff receive rate increases year after year including potential merit increases during the summer.
Must be able to work in a team environment.
Must be able to lift 30 lbs. and work outside.
Most shifts are Tuesday thru Sunday from 3:30pm thru 9-10pm.
Free meals provided each day.
Interviews beginning late February and training begins Mid-May
