The Coordinator of Author Series and Clark Family Library Events Center assists the Manager of Author Events in the development, scheduling, promotion and overall success of all author events at St. Louis County Library as well as serving as the on-site coordinator for the Library’s Event Center.

Salary: $61,247.00
Hours:
Monday-Friday, 3 evenings per week
Weekend hours as needed
Essential Responsibilities:
Assists with hosting for author events at the Event Center, library branches, and off-site venues and serves as the on-site coordinator.
Maintains statistics and event attendee database for the Author Series.
Assists in the development of new promotional avenues for the author series including social media, events blog and an author series podcast.
Serves as a liaison of the Friends of the Library Foundation at author events.
Schedules and monitors the meeting room and programming spaces at the Clark Family Library’s Event Center.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
Must possess a commitment to a high level of public service to Library customers
Must possess good judgment, analytical, and problem solving skills
Must possess excellent communication and organization skills
Ability to work effectively with other Library staff in a professional manner

Physical and Mental Requirements:
Ability to stand up to 8 hours per shift
