The St. Louis County Children’s Service Fund (CSF) is seeking an engaging, collaborative, and driven communication and outreach professional to join our team. The Communication and Community Outreach Coordinator will report to the Communication Director and will provide outreach, educating the public on the organization and program goals and collaborating with external agencies to deliver services. As a member of the communications team, they will also provide support developing internal and external messaging to further our mission and expand our brand.
This position plays an important role in expanding CSF’s brand and increasing knowledge on mental and behavioral health and related resources in the community. This position will also connect with underserved communities in St. Louis County, explore collaborations with existing partners and identify opportunities to develop new partnerships.
- Develop an outreach strategy to inform the public of available services and highlight the Find-A-Service tool.
- Develop and facilitate CSF’s Wellness in the Community campaign, educating County residents on mental health and CSF's Find-A-Service Tool.
- Establish and maintain relationships with external agencies and community organizations to inform, educate, and familiarize residents with resources available to kids and their families in St. Louis County.
- Develop, promote, and implement events and activities.
- Identify underserved County residents and communities and develop relationships to connect them to services.
- Serve as CSF’s brand ambassador to the community.
- Organize and facilitate CSF’s Outreach Council.
- Organize John M. Anderson Excellence In the Field of Mental Health and Community Mental Health Provider Award and work with previous recipients to develop educational and outreach campaigns.
- Maintain and develop content for CSF’s newsletter.
- Assist in the development and creation of blog content to help support the organization’s efforts to become a leader in children’s behavioral health in the region.
- Assist in the execution of the strategic communications plan and educational and outreach campaigns.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent and at least three years of related experience.
