What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Driver II (Roadway) - Various Locations position at St. Louis County?
The typical work hours are Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. The Sweeping Crew position work hours will be Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
The typical starting salary range is between $21.24 - $24.86 hourly depending on the candidate's qualifications and experience as well as budgetary considerations. Additionally, we offer a competitive benefits package and a generous Paid Time Off (PTO) policy.

Each snow season Department employees that are required (as defined by their job description) to work snow will receive a $6 per hour increase when they report for emergency snow removal services.
Perform general roadway or grounds maintenance and sign manufacturing, installation and service on a specialized crew.
Repair and replace asphalt roadways and surfaces.
Maintain, repair or install concrete structures or surfaces.
Perform snow removal.
Provide care and propagation for trees, shrubs, turf and plants.
Some positions lead lower level workers operating heavy equipment.
Perform administrative tasks associated with work completion.
Perform other duties as required or assigned.
Requires two years of experience in general maintenance or related work or an equivalent amount of training and experience. Possession of a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements is also required.
Possession of a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements is also required and a Class A CDL will be required within the first 6 months of employment.Salary : $44,699 - $67,059
