Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to be an integral component of the Finance Team. The ideal candidate will assist with all aspects of accounting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in our financial processes. Cross-collaborating with internal team members to complete tasks will be key to the success of the position. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory, and banking activities.
- Participate in month end close activities, including accurate recording of journal entries and completion of reconciliations
- Ensure accounting policies and procedures to improve financial reporting and operational efficiency are being followed.
- Assist with budgeting and financial planning processes.
- Provide support for the annual financial reviews, bank audits, and tax preparations with external auditors, banks, and tax advisors.
- Collaborate with other departments to support business initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, preferred
- Experience in a small to mid-size company, preferred
- Experience in logistics or manufacturing industries, preferred
- Strong knowledge of accounting software, including QuickBooks Enterprise and Microsoft Excel, as well as being adaptable to new software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Salary : $50,000 - $70,000
