Job Overview
Since 2008, the nonprofit St. Louis Health Equipment Lending Program (STLHELP) has been collecting, repairing, and giving away home medical equipment to anyone who needs it. We seek someone to work Fridays at our Care Service location from 8:30 am to 3 pm.
Responsibilities
- Greet people as they donate used home medical equipment or pickup free items.
- Post and remove signage.
- Utilize your cell phone for daily instructions.
- Stay in contact with dispatcher.
- Be able to start a computer to use a link on the home page.
- Be comfortable in organizing home medical equipment items, including tagging them.
- Demonstrate effective time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Dependable and on time.
- Lift 20lbs.
- Maintain records
- Track no appointments and share at the end of hift
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members
- Work independently while also accomplishing tasks
STLHELP is accredited by the Better Business Bureau
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6.5 per week
