Managing Editor/Writer

Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Writer/Editor to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

• Write and edit a variety of content, including articles, proposals, reports, and marketing materials.
• Conduct thorough research to support writing projects and ensure accuracy of information.
• Perform copy editing and proofreading to enhance clarity, style, and overall quality of written materials.
• Fact-check information to verify accuracy before publication or distribution.
• Maintain consistency with the Chicago Manual Style guidelines throughout all written content.
• Communicate effectively with team members to gather information and feedback on projects.
• Manage multiple writing assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Skills

• Proficient in writing with a strong command of grammar and style.
• Experience in proposal writing is highly desirable.
• Strong copy editing skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to conduct thorough research and fact-checking for accuracy.
• Familiarity with word processing software and editing tools.
• Knowledge of the Chicago Manual Style is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
