OPERATIONS MANAGER

This posting is for a position during the 2025-2026 school year which would start in Summer 2025.

  • Responsibilities

  • Support all aspects of school operations, including facilities and maintenance, food service, transportation, technology, and supply management :
  • Facilities and Maintenance

    Receive, prioritize, and process custodial and maintenance requests, ensuring timely resolution.

  • Conduct weekly building walkthroughs to proactively identify and address facility issues.
  • Food Service
  • Manage compliance of the Food Service department and oversee Food Service operations.

  • Manage and distribute updated allergy lists to appropriate staff to ensure student safety.
  • Review food service inspection reports, follow up on any required corrective actions, and document compliance efforts.
  • Print and distribute student ID badges for meal tracking and other school functions.
  • Coordinate mealtime enrollment, ensuring all students have access to meal programs.
  • Post and distribute monthly food service menus to staff, students, and families.
  • Ensures compliance with and maintains documentation for all National School Lunch Program requirements; supervises the day-to-day activities of the Food Service Contractor
  • Transportation
  • Partnering with transportation vendor to l ead systems to support student transportation.

  • Prepare student transportation routes and communicate with families, students, and SLLIS staff.
  • Manage student transportation data.
  • Technology
  • Monitor and track technology support tickets, ensuring timely resolution of IT issues.

  • Regularly update the school's website with current announcements, calendars, and resources.
  • Monitor and manage the school's social media pages, ensuring alignment with the school's communication plan.
  • Assist in the distribution and tracking of student and staff devices.
  • Supply Management
  • Maintain organization of school supply inventory, ensuring accessibility and efficiency.

  • Restock classroom and office supply cabinets regularly based on usage trends.
  • Process supply orders, including teacher requests, ensuring timely fulfillment and budget alignment.
  • Coordinate with vendors for bulk purchases and maintain accurate supply records.
  • Track paper usage across the school to optimize supply distribution and reduce waste.

It offers fair and predictable compensation to ensure SLLIS is retaining top talent.

    The annual salary for this position is competitive and rages from $50,000 - $65,239. Our salaries are well-above market rate : SLLIS salaries are higher than 97% of public schools in Missouri. Your salary would be based on the highest postsecondary degree you have obtained and the number of years of experience you have. SLLIS also offers the following :

    Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until the position is filled. Not all applicants will receive an interview for the position, but all applications will be thoroughly reviewed. SLLIS has a multi-stage hiring process which includes a phone screening interview, an interview with our Talent Committee and a final interview with our administration team.
