Director - St. Louis Montessori and Daycare

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Daycare professional to join our team. This role is essential in providing a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and experience in caregiving, ensuring that each child receives the attention and support they need to thrive.

Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care to infants and young children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development.
- Engage in play-based learning, fostering creativity and social skills among children.
- Manage behavior effectively, using positive reinforcement techniques to encourage good conduct.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive team atmosphere focused on the children's best interests.
- Stay current with first aid practices and emergency procedures to ensure the safety of all children in care.

Qualifications

-CDA must
- Proven experience in childcare or related fields such as infant care or nannying.
- Background in early childhood education is mandatory.
- Strong skills in behavior management and classroom management techniques.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Ability to create an engaging learning environment tailored to the needs of individual students.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A genuine love for working with children and a commitment to their growth and development.

Pay: $16.44 - $17.22 per hour
